Lore

This is a real fly brain

Not a metaphor, not a "neural network shaped like a fly". The graph was reconstructed from a male fruit fly's central nervous system, one synapse at a time, by imaging it with an electron microscope at a resolution where individual vesicles are visible. Every one of the 25.5 million connections in the matrix corresponds to synapses someone counted. We did not add one, remove one, or change a sign.

How the nose works

A fly smells with about 2,600 receptor neurons on its antennae and palps. Each expresses one receptor and answers to a family of molecules. They converge on around 50 glomeruli in the antennal lobe, where local neurons sharpen the pattern, and projection neurons carry it to two places: the lateral horn, which handles innate reactions, rot, ripe fruit, danger, and the mushroom body, where two thousand Kenyon cells form a sparse code that dopamine neurons stamp with value, and whose output neurons bias the animal toward approach or avoid. From there, descending neurons carry the verdict down the neck to the body. Every one of those cell types is in the subgraph, wired as it was found.

We put the token where the molecules would go. Smart-money count lands on some receptors, bundler rate on others. The graph decides what to make of it.

Why it can smell from miles away

Some receptor neurons fire on a few molecules of the right odorant, sensitivity in the parts-per-billion range. A fly finds a rotting fruit across a field not by smelling harder but by tracking a plume: it turns into the wind when the scent is there, casts across when it is lost. On the stream, each token is a plume drifting in from the edge with an intensity set by the fly's ape logit, and the coin on the stage is the strongest plume, literally the behaviour of the animal, on a different kind of field.

What is measured, engineered, learned

Measured: the wiring. Engineered: which odorant goes to which neurons, the readout, the body on the laptop, the wallet rules. Learned: a gain per connection and a leak per neuron, from what coins did in the hour after we saw them. Whenever the page lights up, the wiring the light travels along was measured; the light itself is learned; the fly rubbing its legs is a puppet.

The flywheel

The token's creator fees are the fly's bankroll. The master wallet trades them, and when it sells a coin at a profit, that profit goes to the top 100 holders, weighted by what they hold. The largest holder is always the liquidity pool and is skipped; so is the trading wallet. Fees in, the fly trades, winnings out. Profit means exactly one thing here: a sell that closed above what the position cost, after slippage and fees. Nothing is distributed on a mark, a hope or a screenshot. It is paper until the track record earns it, and every claim, trade and payout will be on the page with its transaction signature.

Flies ape into shitcoins the way flies ape into shit

A swarm of them, each with its own taste, on a livestream, holding paper. The joke is the point. The numbers underneath it are not.
